Kate Wietor

Architectural Historian

Kate Wietor is an Architectural Historian on the Cultural Resources team at Marstel-Day. In her capacity as an architectural historian, Ms. Wietor assists with conducting surveys and research for federal, state, and local agencies undertaken in accordance with Sections 106 and 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA).

After Graduating from James Madison University with a BS in Anthropology, Ms. Wietor served as an AmeriCorps member in Wheeling, West Virginia and wrote local history content for the Wheeling National Heritage Area's managing nonprofit organization. She holds a Master of Architectural History from the University of Virginia, where she was a Kelly Scholar of Historic Preservation and served as president of the university's chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians.
