Professional Engineer

Chris Lamb is a civil engineer at Marstel-Day who supports the ecological restoration team. He has been working as a civil engineer for over a decade on infrastructure projects located across the country. He began his career in highway design, then over time became focused on water resources and ecological restoration. He has experience in erosion and sediment control, performing hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, as well as stream restoration. He believes in using nature-based solutions to create designs that are resilient, sustainable, and beneficial to both the environment and communities. Chris has enjoyed outdoor recreation such as hiking and camping for many years, where he has experienced the valuable impact of conservation firsthand. This drives his interest in ecological restoration and sustainable design, especially as it relates to improving water resources and water quality. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering and is licensed as a professional engineer.
