Mr. Choike is the Chief Operations Officer at Marstel-Day overseeing all operations, contract execution, and corporate functions of the company. He also oversees the Defense Readiness Team conducting encroachment and mission sustainment consulting support to DOD customers, as well as provides program management expertise and support for the Asset Management program that utilizes the BUILDER Sustainment Management System to help DOD, government, and federal agencies optimize their installation sustainment and facility investment strategies. He manages encroachment and mission sustainment project teams for Air Force, Air Reserve, and Marine Corps (MCICOM) clients, contributing to team efforts throughout the development, completion, and delivery of these studies. Mr. Choike provides program management expertise and support for building site assessments, that utilize the BUILDER Sustainment Management System, in order to help DOD, government, and federal agencies optimize their installation sustainment and facilities investment strategies. He supports project managers and on-site Community Planning Liaison personnel who are tasked with providing research and analysis for encroachment management studies of military installations and their respective surrounding communities. He leads encroachment project teams for Air Force and Commercial clients, contributing to team efforts throughout the development, completion, and delivery of these studies. He also serves as a subject matter expert for projects related to Navy and Marine Corps encroachment challenges, collaborative land use planning, and community partnering initiatives. Mr. Choike has worked at Marstel-Day for over 10 years as a senior manager overseeing large DOD readiness and architecture-engineering contracts supporting mission sustainment, water security, environmental compliance, encroachment, and asset management programs. In his role as Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Choike works closely with all senior managers at Marstel-Day and oversees all operational and contract execution functions.

Mr. Choike served 30 years in the Marine Corps, retiring as a colonel. During his military career, he was selected for or assigned to various command and staff billets in the occupational fields of infantry, motor transportation, and logistics. He also served in the special duty assignments of recruiting duty, recruit training, and entry-level training of new Marines. He culminated his career by serving for three years as the commander at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia. There, he led a base operating support force of 900 that provided functional support, including community services; facilities support; public safety; command and staff support; information technology; logistics; training; and operations support to a base community of more than 30,000 that included tenant commands, service members, retirees, families, and civilians. In this capacity, he managed an annual budget of over $300 million, and oversaw sustainment, renovation, and modernization efforts for over $2.6 billion in plant property assets. He spearheaded efforts to update installation strategic plans, outcomes of which included creating a master planning vision and land use strategy, identifying internal and external encroachment threats, enhancing regional collaboration, developing energy efficiencies and environmental compliance strategies, and finalizing a roadmap for capital asset improvements and facility/infrastructure lifecycle maintenance.

Mr. Choike earned a BA in business administration from Olivet College. He completed his MA in business administration at National University, Vista, CA.
