Harl Sanderson joined the Marstel-Day team in 2020. For 46 years he served in various levels of authority in the United States Air Force (USAF) as a career logistician (active duty) and Deputy Director for Installation Support (DDIS) in Federal civil service; culminating at Beale AFB in 2016.
Prior to joining Marstel-Day, Mr. Sanderson was involved in independent consulting work focused on land usage and out grants on Federal land. During his last ten years as the DDIS at Beale AFB, he was immersed in the base’s development of their joint land use study; airport land use compatibility plan; air installation compatible use zone; readiness and environmental protection initiatives; installation encroachment plan; housing privatization and community partnerships between the USAF and local municipalities.
A retired USAF officer he has had a wide exposure to weapon system bed downs, operational requirements definition development and city-like solutions for military installations.
He earned a BS degree from Southern Illinois University in Occupational Education and a MS degree from Troy University in Management. He is also a level II Acquisition Professional Development in Acquisition Logistics.
