Emily is currently Marstel-Day’s Encroachment Management Subject Matter Expert for Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH), Kaneohe. With a background, love, and passion for environmental science, she has instilled that love in the management and resource positions she has held over the past decade.
Prior to Marstel-Day, Emily enjoyed her time with the National Park Service, developing tours and outreach programs for the Women’s Rights National Historical Park in upstate New York. Her time in Hawaii began as a tour guide, whale naturalist, and park ranger for Diamond Head State Park. She also was a senior consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton with the Marine Corps in their Environmental Division.
Emily earned a BS in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University and graduated magna cum laude with an MS in Ecology.
