Mr. Arthur Ramcharan has conducted archaeological projects in 14 States of the continental U.S. including the Southwest Four Corners, Central Plains, Northeast, Southeast, Middle Atlantic, and Appalachia cultural regions.
Arthur is currently approved and listed with the City of San Diego as an Archaeological monitor for scheduled ground disturbances. Prior to working with Marstel-Day Arthur was a Project Leader for California State Parks. Operating under CEQA guidelines, he has helped lead crews in adverse environments and identify highly sensitive resources. Mr. Ramcharan has also volunteered his time to California State Parks on behalf of the Society for California Archaeology.
Mr. Ramcharan’s experiences encompass Department of Transportation, Energy sector as well as Residential and commercial construction . He has conducted projects on sensitive facilities. He has also mitigated near live assets as well as monitor asset maintenance and installation .
Mr. Ramcharan attended Millersville University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a BA in Cultural Anthropology (Option Archaeology). He has also received the rank of SFC from the ROTC program at the historic “Scotland’s School for Veterans’ Children” in Scotland Pennsylvania.
