Marstel-Day Supports Local Launch of Solarize Initiative

Fredericksburg, VA (May 27, 2015) – Marstel-Day, LLC, in partnership with the Climate, Environment and Readiness (CLEAR) Plan, brought the Charlottesville-based, nonprofit Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP) to speak to community members about the Solarize initiative on May 19.

Cynthia Adams, the former executive director of LEAP, spoke to more than 60 attendees about the Solarize program, which is an initiative that aims to reduce the cost and complexity of going solar for homeowners and businesses. The interactive session provided information about the program and gave local homeowners the opportunity to get questions answered.

LEAP has helped other communities launch successful Solarize campaigns. More information about LEAP is available at its website as well as at and
