Marstel-Day hosted One More Generation (OMG) founders, Olivia and Carter Ries, for their presentation, “Making a Difference,” in the firm’s Fredericksburg, VA office, and at several area schools. Olivia and Carter shared their story of how they started the non-profit OMG, what their journey has been like thus far, and what is coming up next for them.

OMG was formed in 2009 by then 8-year old Carter and 7-year old Olivia as a result of their passion for endangered species issues. They started OMG to educate children and adults about the plight of endangered species with the goal of preserving all species “for at least One More Generation…and beyond.” The non-profit quickly grew to encompass three programs: animal conservation, environmental conservation, and youth empowerment.
