Dr. Wolf is the Director of Environmental Resilience and Ecosystem Restoration, and a Senior Planner at Marstel-Day, LLC. He also provides leadership on sustainable planning and climate adaptation. Dr. Wolf has more than 10 years of experience as a planner, designer, facilitator, and analyst across government, private sector, and academia in the U.S. and internationally. Dr. Wolf is an experienced project manager on projects relating to federal planning, military planning, urban planning, landscape architecture, urban resilience, coastal resilience, climate adaptation, ecosystem services, workshop facilitation, and GIS management.

Prior to joining Marstel-Day Dr. Wolf worked as an urban planner at the National Capital Planning Commission, the premier public planning agency in the country. There he led the development of federal urban planning guidelines for the monumental core and the development of a sustainable alternative for the redevelopment of Pennsylvania Avenue between the White House and the U.S. Capitol. He also served as the agency climate, flooding, and stormwater subject matter expert.

Dr. Wolf holds a BLA in Landscape Architecture and a BA in Geography from Louisiana State University. He also holds an MA in Geography from Louisiana State University, where he wrote his thesis on the urban political ecology of the Chicago River. He earned a PhD in Architecture from the University of Manchester and was supported by a Fulbright Fellowship. His dissertation reconceptualized the process of urban change in Central Asian cities. His research analyzes the relationship between urban residents and the built environment and the role of design in solving environmental challenges. Dr. Wolf also holds a certificate in the Russian language from Novosibirsk State Technical University.
